Doris Marie Biermaier, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 31, surrounded by her family. She was 85 years old. Reflecting on her life, Doris leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and joy that will forever be treasured by those who were lucky enough to know her.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Doris will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 5 at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN. The burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls. Visitation for friends and loved ones will be held on Monday, November 4 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service and Tuesday, November 5 from 9:30-11:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Randall.

Born on March 24, 1939, in Todd County, MN. Doris was the daughter of the late Herman and Helen (Buchta) Schroeder. She grew up in Clarissa, MN, where she later graduated from school. On October 21, 1958, Doris married the love of her life, John "Jack" Biermaier at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Clarissa. Together, they made their home near Cushing, MN, where they raised their four sons and shared a life full of hard work and dedication.

Throughout her life, Doris worked at various local businesses, including Munsingwear, Larson Boats, Ed's Big Barn, Knotty Pine, and the Horseshoe Lake Ballroom. She found joy in simple pleasures like gardening, quilting, canning, and playing cards. Doris was known for her delicious meals and her warm hospitality, always welcoming friends and family with open arms. She was a devoted member of St. James Catholic Church in Randall and the Christian Mothers.

Doris will be fondly remembered by her husband of 66 years, John "Jack" Biermaier and her sons: Timothy (Laura) Biermaier of Cushing, MN and their children, Tracy (Cory), Nick (LaSandra), Brittney, and Bridget, great-grandchildren Brayden, Carter, Micah, Nathaniel, Riley, Isaac, Daxton, and Breya; Mark (Denise) Biermaier of Little Falls, MN and their children Bailey (Matt), Jacob, Dustin B, Dustin T (Kayla), Jenna (Tom), Taylor, and Trenton, great-grandchildren Skyler, Colton, and Braelyn; Duane (Pamela) Biermaier of Cushing, MN and their children Trista (Matt), Angela (Doug), Troy (Kayla), and Leah (Cody), great-grandchildren Brooke, Caleb, Collin, Cole, Mac, Lindsey, Cash, Brody, Vanna, Aubrey, Corbett, Jack, and Knox; sister Reta Erickson, sister-in-law, Lynette Schroder, relatives and friends who were touched by her kindness and grace.

Doris was preceded in death by her son Dylan Biermaier, her brother Donny Schroeder, her sister Adeline Stagger, and her brothers-in-law Mike Stagger and Ben Erickson. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
