Donna Wiggins

Donna J. Wiggins, age 84, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at her home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls with Chaplain Gregg Valentine officiating.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday, September 29th at the funeral home.

A private interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls, MN.

Donna Jean (Ernst) Wiggins was born on May 14, 1929, in Motley, Minnesota the daughter of Leo & Doris (Brinegar) Ernst.She is a graduate of West High in South Minneapolis.She was married to Glenn Wiggins and the couple was blessed with over 50 years together.They lived in Brooklyn Center, MN, before moving to Baxter, MN, in 2003.In 2012, she moved to the Alverna Apartments in Little Falls where she resided at the time of her death.Donna worked as a secretary at Honeywell in Minneapolis where she met Glenn and they were married a short time later.At that time she became a homemaker and raised her family.She enjoyed bowling, playing cards (especially poker), and loved to cook, bake and entertain.She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and attended Hope Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Nancy (Michael) Belknap of Little Falls, MN; son-in-law, Don (Joy) VanVorst of Pine River, MN; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn (8/8/2008); daughter, Wendy VanVorst (7/25/2005); brother, Gordon Ernst and sister, Wanda Keller.
