Donna Brausen, age 75, of Pierz, MN, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 2, 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN, with Rev. Gerald Dalseth officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 1, 2010 and 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 2, 2010 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz, MN. There will be a Christian Mother's Rosary at 4:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home followed by Parish Prayers at 7:30 P.M. Donna was born on December 15, 1934 in Little Falls, Minnesota the daughter of Lee & Annette (Marotte) Gammon. She grew up in Little Falls and graduated from Little Falls High School. She was united in marriage to Ervin J. Brausen on February 5, 1952 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. The couple made their home in Little Falls for the first few years of their marriage. They then moved into Pierz where they raised their family. Donna was employed at Munsingwear and Larson Boats in Little Falls. She enjoyed embroidery, fishing, playing cards and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz and the Christian Women. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gary (Janet) Brausen of Pierz, Dale (Kathy) Brausen of Horn Lake, Mississippi, Jeanne (Allen) Poser of Pierz and Joanie (Tim) Watercott of Pierz; siblings, Bev Sahr of Little Falls, George (Lois) Gammon of Motley, Colleen (Clarence) Dahmen of Aurora, MN, Patty Rauch of Little Falls, Karen (Jerry) Pietrowski of Annandale and Gloria Gammon of Little Falls; 10 grandchildren, Kurt (Deaynn) Brausen, Chad (Katie) Poser, Stacie (James) Gross, Nicole Brausen, Melissa Poser, TJ Watercott, Ashley Brausen, Amanda (Mark) Winscher, Kari (Adam) Theis, Trista Watercott and 17 great-grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents ; husband, Ervin J. Brausen (February 19, 1992); brothers, Larry (Theresa) Gammon and Jerry Gammon and brother-in-law, Richard Sahr.
