Donald Woitalla 75 year old resident of Harding, MN, passed away Monday, December 31 at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 4 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, MN with Father David Maciej officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may gather from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz, MN and from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Friday at the church. A Rosary will be said at 4:30 P.M. followed by Parish Prayers at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Donald Woitalla was born October 7, 1937 to the late Joachim and Albina (Koroll) Woitalla. He grew up in Pulaski Township, Morrison County, Minnesota. He attended District #149 country school. Donald farmed in Pulaski Township all of his life. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, he had a great love of animals and usually had a good dog at his side. Donald was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, MN. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Rose Jelinski of Freedhem, MN, Grace (LeRoy) Manlick of Little Falls, MN, nieces and nephews, Larry Jelinski, Tom Jelinski, Jim Jelinski, Fred Jelinski, Daniel Jelinski, Carol Dahlke, Katie Jelinski, David Manlick, Michael Manlick, Mary Manlick, Ann Thielen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joachim and Albina (Koroll) Woitalla and a brother-in-law, Lawrence Jelinski.
