Donald Przybilla

Donald Przybilla, age 74, of Pierz, MN, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014, at his residence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Buckman, MN, with Fr. Kenneth Popp officiating.Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 8:00 P.M. on Monday, July 21, 2014, at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz and at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 10:00 a.m.

There will be a parish prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home followed by the Knights of Columbus Office of the Dead at 7:30 p.m.

Donald Mathias Przybilla was born on September 24, 1939, in Buckman Township, Morrison County, Minnesota the son of John & Theresa (Stumpf) Przybilla.He graduated from Fr. Pierz Memorial High School.On May 13, 1963, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Ann Gall at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Buckman.Donald was a farmer all his life.In his leisure time, Donald enjoyed gardening and his flowers.He was known as The Pumpkin Man.He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Buckman serving as a lector for over 41 years and a Eucharistic Minister and the Knights of Columbus serving as a past Grand Knight.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathleen of Pierz, MN; children, Daniel (Bonnie) Przybilla of Little Falls, MN, LeAnn (Roger) Brown of Foley, MN, Thomas Przybilla of Pierz, MN, Timothy (Julie) Przybilla of Forest Lake, MN, Tammy (Justin) Tetrick of Clearwater, MN, and Janel (Mike) Lepinski of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Clara (Clarence) Jorgensen of Shoreview, MN, Mildred Wolf of Eden Valley, MN, Esther (John) Gapinski of Foley, MN; sisters-in-law, Marie Przybilla of St. Joseph, MN, Ceil Przybilla of Pierz, MN and Loretta Przybilla of Pierz, MN; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild with another one on the way.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elmer, Roderick, Maurice, Reinhart; sisters, Theresa Gapinski and Mary Przybilla and brothers-in-law, Norbert Wolf and Richard Gapinski.

Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Przybilla, Ronald Przybilla, Danny Baert, Harvey Britz, Cliff Marshik, and Bernadine Cherne.

Casketbearers will be Danny Przybilla, Tom Przybilla, Tim Przybilla, Randy Przybilla, Jason Przybilla, Glen Przybilla, Patty Stich and Greg Gapinski.
