Donald H. Hollermann

Donald H. Hollermann, age 59 of Little Falls, MN passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010, at his home in Culdrum Township, Morrison County, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 18th at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg with Rev. Ron Dockendorf officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 to 9:30 A.M. at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. A Rosary will be said Monday evening at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel followed by Parish Prayers at 6:30 P.M. Donald H. Hollermann was born April 19, 1951 in Sauk Centre, Stearns County, MN to the late Edward & Irene (Mehr) Hollermann. He grew up in Grey Eagle, MN. Donald attended and graduated from Upsala High School with the class of 1969. Following high school, he attended the University of Minnesota Crookston where he majored in Dairy Science. After college, he worked for two years as a herdsman in North Dakota. Donald was united in marraige to Theresa A. Gondringer on October 6, 1973 at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Avon, MN. From 1973-1999, Donald worked as an AI Tech for Genex CRI. After 26 years with Genex CRI, he worked for Ag Star and with AARP as a tax counselor until his retirement in 2006. Donald had a special interest in financial investing. He enjoyed raising steers, woodworking, playing cards, snowmobiling and had a great love for his family and friends. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg, Flensburg Sportsmen's Club and the Minnesota Holstein Association. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Theresa, of Little Falls, MN; son & daughters, Dustin (Angela) Hollermann of Upsala, MN; Shelly (Mike) Harren of Holdingford, MN and Stacy Hollermann of Little Falls, MN; brothers, Richard (Theresa) Hollermann of Farwell, MN, Lambert (Patty) Hollermann of Burtrum, MN & Gerald (Julie) Hollermann of Swanville, MN; step-mother, Mary Hollermann of Chandler, AZ; two grandsons, Mitchell Harren and Tucker Hollermann and a granddaughter, soon to arrive. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Irene (Mehr) Hollermann; sister, Ann Zinniel and a brother-in-law, Virgil Zinniel. Honorary Pallbearers are his brothers, Jerry Hollermann, Bert Hollermann & Richard Hollermann. Casket Bearers are Leon Vetsch, Mark Bleess, Jeremy Gondringer, Jim Gondringer, Kyle Breth, Herb Wielenberg, Darrel Posterick & Paul Orth.
