Donald E. Feiler

Donald E. Feiler, age 79 of Royalton, MN passed away Friday, June 10, 2011 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls at 9:30 A.M. with the Rev. Laurn Virnig officiating. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8PM at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Royalton. A Christian Mothers Rosary will be said at 4:30 P.M. Thursday afternoon at the funeral home followed by a prayer service 6:30 P.M. Donald Eugene Feiler was born December 29, 1931 in Akron, OH to the late Paul and Stella (Poole) Feiler. He graduated from high school in Livonia, MI and then entered the United States Air Force where he received an honorable discharge. He married Jacqueline Thering in 1956. They had four children. In 1982, he was united in marriage to Betty Sufka-Slivnik. Donald drove semi-truck most of his life as an owner-operater and as an employee. He was a member of the Royalton American Legion and a former member of the Royalton City Council. Donald loved watching NASCAR. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty; sons, Jason(Debbie) Feiler of Little Falls, MN, Tim (Scarlett) Feiler of Royalton, MN, Darren (Hui Cha) Feiler of Lakewood, WA and daughter Dawn (Tory) Feiler-Nelson of Edmonds, WA; step-children, Roberta Trapp of Sauk Rapids, MN, Michele (David) Catlin of Homestead, FL and Cherie (Ted) Hanson of Sartell, MN; six grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, Erma and sibling twins- brother and a sister. Casketbearers are Jason Feiler, Tim Feiler, Darren Feiler, Donald Feiler, Tory Nelson & Paul Feiler.
