Donald Anthony Maslowski, 77 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Tuesday, February 4 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. with Father Joseph Herzing officiating. A visitation will be held Friday, February 7 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Saturday all at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. The Parish Prayers will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. The Christian Mothers and Daughters of Isabella will pray the rosary at 5:00 p.m. and The Knights of Columbus will pray at 7:00 p.m. all prayers will be said Friday evening at the funeral home.

Donald was born June 4, 1936 in Little Falls, Minnesota to the late Mike and Helen (Pekula) Maslowski. He attended District #9 country school. He received his Electricians diploma from the Brainerd Vocational School.Donald was united in marriage to Jeanette Mary Koroll on September 6, 1960 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Elmdale, MN. He worked as an Electrician at Falls Electric then Holden Electric in Little Falls. Donald spent many of those years keeping all things electrical in order at St. Gabriels Hospital and for the Franciscan Sisters in Little Falls, MN. Don was known as a gentle man. He was kind hearted to all.As with all aspects of his life, he remained positive and lived a very full life after being diagnosed with cancer.The family celebrated and cherished many holidays, birthdays, visits, fishing trips and the birth of half of his grandchildren during those precious years.He spent countless volunteer hours at Our Lady of Lourdes Church keeping the lights on, the kitchen functioning, helping with the summer bazaar, praying and bringing the original pipe organ back to life. Donald enjoyed deer hunting, league bowling, raising beef cattle, and manicuring the familys garden and hobby farm for many years.Don and Jeanette always shared generously from their garden with family and friends.He enjoyed spending days with grandkids from reading on the couch to doing projects outside and giving 4-wheeler and snowmobile rides. He had the ability to fix or engineer anything. He designed and built many wood projects over the years from small jewelry boxes, to decks and playhouses.Don enjoyed fishing with friends, family and his most loyal fishing partner his wife, Jeanette.He designed and built hundreds of portable canvas fish houses during his life. In more recent years, he made winter ice spears for spear fishing and crafted red and white fishing decoys. Donald was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1804.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 53 years, Jeanette of Little Falls, MN; son, Daniel (Renee) Maslowski of Little Falls, MN; daughters, Julie (Kelly) Klinker of Burnsville, MN, Karen (Jason) Moehring of Ham Lake, MN and Marie (Steve) Kummet of Hillman, MN; brother, Eugene Maslowski of North Prairie, MN; sister, Delores (Don) Willis of Lansing, MI; 12 grandchildren, Jeremy, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Amy, Timothy and Caleb Maslowski, Alyson (engaged to Dan Hufnagle) and Camryn Klinker, Eli and Erika Moehring, Saundra and Jasmine Kummet.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Helen (Pekula) Maslowski; brother, Richard Duke Maslowski and a grandchild, Corey Kummet.

Unity Family Home Care and Hospice, Our Lady of Lourdes Pipe Organ Restoration,
The Morrison County Chapter of Darkhouse Fishing and The Little Falls Fishing Museum.
