Delilah "Lila" Fussy

Delilah Lila Fussy, age 84, of Bowlus, MN, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013, at St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls, MN,

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN, with Fr. John Odero officiating.Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 22nd at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus with a Christian Mothers Rosary at 4:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will continue at the church on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.

Delilah Veronica Zimprich was born on August 19, 1929, in Jessie, North Dakota the daughter of Edward & Veronica (Gruman) Zimprich.She was married in November, 1947, and farmed until 1962 when she moved to McVille, ND.Delilah worked at the nursing home in McVille from 1962 to 1965, the hospital from 1965 to 1968 and then the caf in McVille and Sharon.In 1976, Delilah married Jerome Fussy.She worked at cafs in Little Falls, Holdingford and Bowlus, retiring in 1999.Delilah was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus.She enjoyed fishing and traveling when time permitted.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerome Fussy of Bowlus, MN; children, Rosalie (Frederick) Gruman, Sue Ann (Robert) Brooks, John (Gina) Miller, Mary (Robert) Gruman, and Joe (Penny) Miller all of North Dakota; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Delilah was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Veronica Zimprich; son, Gregory Miller and grandson, Phillip Brooks.
