David E. Egerton, Sr., age 74, of Little Falls, MN, fomerly of Oregon, died Friday, October 17, 2014, at his home. Services will be held at a later date in Oregon.


David Earl Egerton, 74 of Florence, OR, succumbed to his fight with Kidney cancer in the afternoon hours of October 17, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Bettie Egerton of Florence, OR, his daughter, Erica Aspen-Wright, son-in-law, Michael, granddaughter, Shaley of Seattle, WA, daughter, DeeDee Stobb, son-in-law, Justin, grandsons, Blaine and Andrew of Maltby, WA, son, David Edgerton, Jr., daughter-in-law, Rachel, grandchildren, Marshall and Sloan Edgerton of Little Falls, MN and a sister, Meri Reamer of Tigard, OR.
David was an intellectual figure who had a thirst for knowledge. He loved studying history and especially the civil war.He served his country proudly as a marine and has a sharp mind for business.His expertise enabled him to start his own successful business, which he and his wife operated until he retired. His loss will be felt by many but most of all by those closet to him.
