David John Boyce, 55 year old resident of Little Falls died Saturday, November 7th at his home after a courageous battle with cancer and numerous health issues. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 11 at 6:00 P.M. at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. Friends may gather from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel. David J. Boyce was born August 1, 1954 in Fort Atkinson, WI to John and Betty Lou (Stricker) Boyce. He attended school in Fort Atkinson, WI. He moved to Minnesota in 1980. He was united in marriage to Carol Bollig on July 11, 1986 in Sisseton, South Dakota. The couple made their home in Morrison County, Minnesota where David worked for Crestliner Boats for 15 years. Due to declining health, David was forced into retirement in 2000. David enjoyed archery, painting pictures, mastering the computer and e-mail which he was self taught. He valued his time spent with family and friends especially his grandchildren. He loved his dog, "Baby", a Jack Russell Terrier He is survived by his wife, Carol (Bollig) Boyce of Little Falls, MN; son, Tim and wife, Honi Boyce, of Wisconsin; daughter, Jennifer Bollig of Little Falls, MN; step-mother, Bev McCorkel and husband, Mack, of Arizona; sisters, Tammy Hibbert and husband, Pat, of Arizona, Janet Moldenhauer and husband, Del, of Wisconsin, Sue Smith and husband, Bronco, of Arizona; grandchildren, Caitlyn Andrews, Carlee Bollig, Kia Bollig and Cody Boyce; Arizona; brother, Willis Lenz and wife, Jackie,of Wisconsin; nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Boyce; mother and father-in-law, June and Paul Bollig; brothers-in-law, Alvin Bollig and Tom Zimmerman; nephew, Ben Zimmerman; nieces, Bridgette DeMarre and Amber Bollig. Honorary Casket Bearers will be: Norbert Bollig, Daniel Bollig, Dale Bollig, Russell Bollig, Darrel Bollig, Paul Bollig and Chuck Kestner.
