Darlene M. Karasch

Darlene M. Karasch, age 58, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 19th and 9:00 -10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 20th all at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. Darlene "Dar" Mary Karasch was born on July 28, 1952 in Little Falls, Minnesota the daughter of Eugene & Lucille (Borash) Karasch. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes parochial school, St. Francis High School for three years and then graduated from Swanville High School, Class of 1970. Following her schooling, she moved to California until 1974 when she returned to Little Falls. Dar had a number of jobs including managing The Kitchen for seven years, driving taxi for 12 years and most recently worked as an assistant activities coordinator at the Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls. Dar was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo, was obsessed with watching professional wrestling (WWE), collecting Coach House teddy bears, spending time with family and friends and most importantly her grandchildren. She was the favorite Auntie (Dar) to her nieces and nephews. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, MiRanda Pfaff and her husband, Josh and their children, Josh, Jr. and Tori of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Ronald (Lynn) Karasch, Cyndi (Ron) Bachan and Bonnie (Joe II) Bachan all of Little Falls, MN; nieces, nephews, their children and many other family and friends. Dar was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene & Lucille (Borash) Karasch; and MiRanda's father, Vic Heurung, Sr.
