Clarence F. Lepinski, 87 year old resident of Sartell, MN formerly of Little Falls, MN died Tuesday, June 9 at the St. Cloud VA Center.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Fr. Joseph Herzing officiating.The burial will be held at St. Adalberts Catholic Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.A visitation will be held Friday from 9:30 a.m to until the hour of the service on Friday at the church.
Clarence Felix Lepinski was born May 28, 1928 in Stearns County, Minnesota to the late Andrew and Ida (Pintok) Lepinski.He attended grade school at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in Little Falls, MN and graduated from Little Falls High School. On June 24, 1948, he enlisted into the United States Army and served his country during the Korean Conflict. He received his honorable discharge on May 22, 1952. Clarence was united in marriage to Frances Jean Tylman on August 11, 1951 at St. Adalberts Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. The couple made their home in Lebanon, PA.The couple moved back to Minnesota after his discharge from the military.Clarence worked in Minneapolis and St. Cloud for a short time.In 1954, He went to work for Pauls Bar in Little Falls, MN until his retirement in 1987 at the age of 59.Clarence enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and reading.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Mark (Janelle Adelman) Lepinski of Sauk Rapids, MN, Alan (Lois) Lepinski of St. Joseph, MN, Wayne (Renee) Lepinski of St. Cloud, MN; grandchildren, Mike (Janel) Lepinski of Little Falls, MN, Ben Lepinski and Adam Lepinski, of St. Joseph, MN, Marie (Derek Riley) Wivinus, of Columbia Heights, MN; Carla (Chad) Gronau of Sartell, MN, Laura (Matt Fischer) Lepinski of St. Cloud, MN and Sara Lepinski of St. Cloud, MN; daughter-in-law, Mary Lepinski of Rice, MN; great-grandchildren, Kalley Gronau and Maddie Lepinski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Ida (Pintok) Lepinski; wife, Frances Jean and a son, Bruce Lepinski and his half brothers, Leo Osga and Joe Osga.
The family of Clarence would like to thank the St. Cloud VA for the wonderful care provided to their dad.
