Christine Czech

Christine M. Czech, 87 year old Little Falls, MN died Thursday, March 27 at her home in Little Falls, MN surrounded by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 31 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Mark Innocenti officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Sunday, March 30 at the Emblom-Brenny West Chapel and from 9-10 AM on Monday at the funeral home. Christian Mothers will pray the Rosary at 4:30 PM followed by Parish Prayers at 5:30 PM. Christine was born February 8, 1921 in Albany, MN to the late Albert and Victoria (Heitzman) Auer. As a young girl she attended school in the Albany area. She was united in marriage to George P. Czech on December 29, 1941 at Seven Dolars Church in Albany, MN. The couple made their home near Little Falls, MN. Christine worked for St. Gabriel's Hospital and Crestliner Boats in Little Falls, MN. Christine was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Christian Mothers in Little Falls, MN. She enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart, gardening, fishing, bird and squirrel watching, cooking for her family, listening to Party Line and Polka World. Christine loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Christine is survived by her sons, George Czech and wife, Lavon, Richard Czech, Jerry Czech and wife, Natalie, all of Little Falls, MN; daughters, Betty Sherry and Pat Boser of Lastrup, MN, Rosie Filsmyer and Jim Solorz of Elmdale, MN; brother, Albert Auer and wife, Donna, of Buffalo, WY; sisters, Mary Ann Smith and husband, Lloyd, Marcy Schmidt all of Jamestown, N.D.; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Victoria Auer; husband, George Czech; brothers, Alex Auer, Eddie Auer, Bob Auer; sisters, Minnie Matros, Clara Czech, Lucy Smith, Tillie Auer, Alvina Auer; sons-in-laws, Duane Sherry, Ken Boser and Jack Filsmyer. Casketbearers will be: Tim Czech, Arnie Wieczorek, Chad Boser, Cyle Filsmyer, Katie Houle, Christa Filmyer. Honorary Casketbeares: Tony Czech, Tom Czech, Charlene Hanson, Shelly Boser, Minnie Boser, Carie Leners, Cory Filsmyer, Tina Czech, Faith Czech.
