Cheryl Michels

Cheryl Michels, 57 year old resident of Zimmerman, MN, formerly of Swanville, MN, died Friday, April 26 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Elmdale, MN with Father John Odero officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may gather from 9:00 AM to 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the church. Cheryl Michels was born May 20, 1955 in Little Falls, MN to Lawrence and Arlene (Molde) Cichon. She attended Upsala High School and graduated in 1973. She worked for many years at Electrolux (Frigidaire) in the Distribution Department and then in the Accounting Department. Cheryl enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafting, woodworking, traveling and was a "Snickerdoodle Professional". Cheryl is survived by her husband, Steven Michels of Zimmerman, MN; daughters, Jennifer (Roman) Daszczyszak of Mount Rainer, MD, Jaime (Ryan) Johnson of Princeton, MN; brothers, Richard (Kristine) Cichon of Winona, MN, Duane Cichon of Swanville, MN; niece, Aimee Cichon of Winona, MN; aunt, Carmen DeFoe of Sobieski, MN and a granddaughter, Allison Johnson of Princeton, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Arlene Cichon; sister-in-law, Debbie Cichon. Casket Bearers will be: Roman Daszczyszak, Ryan Johnson, Richard Cichon, Duane Cichon, Kristine Cichon and Jaime Johnson.
