Charles W. Schwegman

Charles W. Schwegman 75 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Thursday, October 9 at his home in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Mark Innocenti. Friends may gather from 1-2 PM at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be private. Charles was born March 31, 1933 in St. Martin, MN to the late Conrad and Dorothy (Flynn) Schwegman. He was united in marriage to Audreen Wilczek in 1961. The couple lived in the Twin Cities where Charles worked for the Star Tribune newspaper for 36 years. During his time in the Twin Cities, Charles was a volunteer with the Columbia Heights police department. The couple retired to Marcell, MN where he was very active in the community. He enjoyed serving as a volunteer for the food shelf while living in Marcell, MN. Charles enjoyed fishing, crafting, hunting and designing and building the couple's home in Marcell, MN. Charles is survived by his wife, Audreen "Ozzie" Schwegman of Little Falls, MN; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Dorothy Schwegman.
