Charlene T. Lampert, 86 year old resident of Waite Park, MN died on Sunday, May 20 at Sterling Park Health Care Center. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, May 23 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN with Father Mike Kellogg officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the church in Bowlus, MN. Charlene was born April 4, 1926, on the family farm near Bowlus, MN. She was born to Peter and Sophia (Kampa) Lampert. She graduated from St. Francis High School in Little Falls, MN, and entered the convent at a young age. She worked as Licensed Practical Nurse in Breckenridge, MN, St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, and retired from Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Charlene enjoyed living in Minneapolis, MN. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. Her family will remember her for her sense of humor and contagious laugh that could fill a room. Charlene will be remembered by her sisters, Sister Mary Goretti, OSF, of the St. Francis Convent in Little Falls, MN, Betty (LeRoy) Pollock of Holdingford, MN, Cecilia "CheChe" (James) Posch of Little Falls, MN, Regina "Jean" (Wayne) Lauermann of Waite Park, MN and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Agnes Dubiel, Martha Stiller, Mary Brenny, Patricia Frank, Roman Lampert, Joseph Lampert, Peter Lampert, John Lampert and Albert Lampert. Charlene's family would like to thank the Sterling Park Health Care Center for their loving care.
