Cecilia F. Loidolt

Cecilia (Fischer) Loidolt, age 93, of Pierz, MN formerly of Lastrup, MN died Thursday, February 5. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Johns Catholic Church in Lastrup, MN on Monday, February 9, at 11:00 a.m. with Father David Maciej officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday, February 8, at the Pierz Villa from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday at the church. A parish prayer will be said at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Pierz Villa.

Cecilia was born March, 14, 1921 in Buh Township, Morrison County to the late John and Gertrude (Boehmer) Fischer. She attended and graduated from District #36 country school in Lastrup, MN. She was united in marriage to Rolland Rollie Loidolt on April 4, 1945 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Lastrup, MN. The couple resided and farmed in Granite Township. Cecilia was a teachers aide in Lastrup, MN for 13 years and a CNA at St. Marys Villa in Pierz, MN for 11 years. She served as a Senior Companion for 10 years. She was also a volunteer at Horizon Health and at the Pierz Villa for a number of years. Cecilia was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church in Lastrup, MN, Christian Mothers and was a communion minister. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, embroidery, gardening and flowers. Her greatest treasures were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she valued the time they shared together, and will always treasure them in her heart.

Cecilia is survived by her children, Marne (Marge) Loidolt of Pierz, MN, Mary Jo (Kevin) Gruber of Baxter, MN; grandchildren, Chris Gruber, Apryl (Troy) Putnam, Brandon (Jackie) Gruber, Shannon (Joey) Vettleson, Stephanie Loidolt, Michael (Jacquelyn) Loidolt, Mark Loidolt and Cory Loidolt;great-grandchildren, Carly Vettleson, Sarah Vettleson, Reid Putnam, Rylan Putnam, Clayten Loidolt, Malachi Loidolt, Caiden Gruber and a step-great-grandson, Taylor Loidolt..

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude (Boehmer) Fischer; husband, Rolland Loidolt; children, Kathleen Loidolt, Allen Loidolt; siblings, Herb Fischer, Ray Fischer, Alvin Fischer, Anna Schommer, Loretta Fischer and infant brother, John Fischer.


The casket bearers will be: Chris Gruber, Brandon Gruber, Michael Loidolt, Mark Loidolt, Cory Loidolt, Joey Vettleson and Troy Putnam.
