Carol Mrosla

Carol Jean Mrosla, 67 year old resident of Rice, MN died Saturday, August 13 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 18 at 2:00 P.M. at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Prairie, MN. Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 17 at the funeral home followed by one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 P.M. followed by Parish Prayers at 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Carol was born April 8, 1944 in Hallock, Minnesota. She attended school in Holdingford, MN and graduated in 1962. She was united in marriage to Alfred Mrosla on October 1, 1964 at St. Stephen Church in St. Stephen, MN. The couple made their home in Rice, MN for the past 47 years. Carol worked at Finger Hut and at the St.Cloud Hospital. Her primary occupation was a homemaker and a mom to Lori, Shari, Kris and Kari. Carol was a member of St. Cloud Genealogy Association. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, canning and quilting. The holidays were a special time she enjoyed having all of her family together. Left to cherish her memory are husband, Alfred "Al" Mrosla of Rice, MN, daughters, Lori (Jeff) Mrosla of Rice, MN, Shari (Mike) Theisen of Bowlus, MN, Kris (Fred) Mrosla of Sartell, MN, Kari (Chad) Fiedler of Albany, MN; siblings, Harlan (Stacy) Hutchins of Edgewater, FL, Muriel (Bob) Green of Anaheim, CA, Donnie Hutchins of Roswell, New Mexico, Sharon (Ron) Huntington of Savage, MN and Duane Hutchins of St. Cloud, MN; grandchildren, Amanda Lea (Cody), Malynda Sue (Phil), Joseph (Amanda), Daniel, Michael (Kelsey), Brittany Lynn, Douglas, Austin, David, Jaqueline; great-grandchild, Aiden and 10 half brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her mother, Melantine Amanda Elizabeth (Hyatt) Hutchins and an infant brother, Jerry William Hutchins. Honorary Casket Bearers will be her daughters, Lori, Shari, Kris and Kari.
