Carl C. Stangl

Carl Conrad Stangl was born December 3, 1919 in Pierz Township, Morrison County, Minnesota to the late John and Anna (Meyer) Stangl. He grew up in Pierz Township, Morrison County and attended school at District #129. Carl was united in marriage to Rita Tembreull on May 13, 1943 in Pierz, MN. They farmed in Pierz Township for many years. He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN. Carl is survived by his sons, Martin Stangl of Pierz, MN, James (Julie) Stangl of Little Falls, MN; daughters, Mary (Dennis) Czech of Hannover Park, IL, Joan (Ronny) Plushnick of Vancouver, WA and Rosel (friend, Greg Hammersten) Stangl of Minneapolis, MN; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Stangl; parents and daughter-in-law, Marlys Ann (Hayes) Stangl. Serving as casketbearers were Martin Stangl, James Stangl, John Stangl, Joshua Stangl, Dennis Czech and Greg Hammersten.
