Bruce A. Setterstrom

Bruce A. Setterstrom, age 50, of Randall, MN, formerly of Little Falls, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN, with Pastor Joel Osterlund officiating. Private interment will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 5-8 P.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. Visitation will continue on Saturday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Bruce Allen Setterstrom was born on August 9, 1960 in Little Falls, MN, the son of Carl "Bob" & Betty (Zimbrick) Setterstrom. He grew up on a farm in the Freedhem area and graduated from Little Falls High School, Class of 1978. He joined the Minnesota National Guard for two years. Bruce has been an employee at Camp Ripley for the past 29 years working in maintenance. Bruce enjoyed bowling, collecting coins, hunting and fishing in his younger years, the Fourth of July (his favorite holiday), and spending time with his close friends and especially his daughter, Jessica. Bruce was a member of the Little Falls American Legion Post #46. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jessica Setterstrom of Little Falls, MN; mother, Betty Setterstrom of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Gene Setterstrom of Chanhassen, MN, Arlyce (Roger) Olson of Little Falls, MN, Keith (Gail) Setterstrom of Northfield, MN, and Donna (Les) Michels of Eden Prairie, MN, and many nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Carl "Bob" Setterstrom (November, 1988); grandparents, Emil & Mabel (Anderson) Zimbrick and Carl & Jennie (Thorsland) Setterstrom.
