Brenda Geise

Brenda Geise, age 37, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with Fr. Mark Innocenti officiating. Interment with military honors will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN, with a parish prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Brenda was born on May 27, 1974 to Elmer & Mary (Welle) Geise. She grew up on a farm near Sobieski, MN. She attended grade school in Upsala, MN, and graduated from Little Falls High School in 1992. Following her schooling she joined the Minnesota National Guards. She was still active in the Guards. She was currently employed as a military supply technician at Camp Ripley. Brenda enjoyed life. She was quite the prankster playing jokes on everyone she knew. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She attended Holy Family Catholic Church and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was a member of the Royalton American Legion. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Korleen Edmond of Little Falls, parents Elmer & Mary Geise of Little Falls; siblings, David (Sarah Leonard) Geise of Little Falls, Joyce Geise of Little Falls, Betty Geise of Swanville, Mike Geise of Pierz, Janice Mohler of Little Falls, Patricia (Steve Smieja) Geise of Fort Ripley, Steven Geise of Little Falls, Joanne (Chris Noska) Geise of Staples and Richard Geise of Pierz; and many nieces and nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben & Catherine Geise and Edwin & Gertrude Welle.
