Bonnie Snyder

Bonita “Bonnie” Snyder, 74-year-old resident of Little Falls, passed away April 10th at St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls, Minnesota. Visitation will be Monday, April 15th from 4:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. Burial will be Tuesday April 16th at the Roseland Cemetery in Randall at 1:30 PM. Lunch will be held at 2:30 at the VFW in Randall following the burial. 

Bonnie was born on June 16th, 1949, to Alfred and Emelie (Bollig) Tretter in Little Falls, Minnesota. She was married to Rickey Snyder Sr. on October 24th, 1967. The couple made their home near Camp Ripley where they raised their 3 children. Bonnie enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and playing cards with her family. There was no shortage of laughter, or sarcastic comments if you were sitting at a bingo table with her. She treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She never turned down the opportunity to spend time with them.

Bonnie is survived and will be greatly missed by her children, John (Rachel) Snyder, Kittie (Rodney) Harnack, Rickey Jr. (Jenell) Snyder; siblings Karen (David) Dickmann, Dicky (Doreen) Tretter, Joyce (Patrick Prozinski) Casavan, Sandie (Rick) Bleecker, Jodell (David) Tretter, Lynette Grzybek, Jerilyn Tretter, Becky Tretter, sister-in-law Sissy Tretter; her 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and dear friend Jeanette Killeaney.

She was preceded in death by husband Rickey Snyder Sr, parents Emelie and Alfred; siblings Gloria (Wayne) Snyder, Eugene Tretter, Alan Tretter and infant sister Mary Kay.
