Betty Ann Vechek

Betty Vechek, 88-year-old resident of Albany formerly of Little Falls - died Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany, MN.

A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Chapel in Little Falls. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at the Moses Dane Cemetery, in Burtram, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family or the local Humane Society.



Betty Ann Beck was born on August 4, 1931 to Raymond and Arvella (Chamberlin) Beck in Storm Lake, IA. She was married to James White on May 27, 1950 in Worthington, MN where they resided and raised their family. She moved to Morrison County in 1971. Betty married Larry Vechek in 1976. The couple farmed for several years before retiring. She then worked for Green Thumb for a few years. Betty volunteered at the Morrison County Sheriffs Department for 6 years. She was a member of the Health and Wellness Club and AARP. She loved all animals.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debra (Dale) VanNorman, Peggy Wunderlich, brother, Ronald (Jean) Beck; 4 grandchildren; 8great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Arvella Beck; husbands, Jim White and Larry Vechek.
