Bernice Katheryn Billig, 86 year old resident of Royalton, MN, died Thursday, July 17 at St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton, MN.A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton, MN.The burial will be held at the parish cemetery.

Bernice K. Bymers was born June 9, 1928 in St. George Township, Benton County, Minnesota to the late Lester and Nethaline (Latterell) Bymers. She attended District #77 Country School in Benton County and St. Cloud Teachers College.She was united in marriage to Jerome Billig on October 2, 1954 at St. Johns Church in Foley, MN. The couple made their home east of Royalton, MN all their married lives.Bernice was a teacher for a few years teaching in rural Benton County and also at Royalton Elementary.She also worked for Fandels Store in St. Cloud, MN for four years. Bernice enjoyed gardening, baking, embroidery and reading.She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton, MN.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 60 years, Jerome Billig of Royalton, MN; children, Thomas Billig of Royalton, MN, Katheryn (David) Olson of Coon Rapids, MN, Barbara (Leonard) Brezinka of Elk River, MN, Timothy Billig of Royalton, MN, Daniel Billig of Royalton, MN and Nicholas Billig of Royalton, MN; sisters, Florence Billig of Dickinson, N.D. and LaJean (Gary) Dzuik of San Angelo TX; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
