Beatrice M Doroff

Beatrice M. Doroff, age 80 of Little Falls, MN, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Mark Innocenti officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday and Friday from 8:00-10:00 A.M. at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. Christian Mothers Rosary will be said at 4:30 P.M. Thursday afternoon at the funeral chapel followed by parish prayers at 6:00 P.M. Beatrice M. (Vetsch) Doroff was born March 20, 1930 in Otsego, MN to the late Jacob and Regina (Barthel) Vetsch. She attended school through the twelfth grade, graduating from high school in 1947. Beatrice was united in marriage to Edward Doroff on August 6, 1960 at St. Albert's Catholic Church in Albertville, MN. She worked in Minneapolis at J.C. Penny Company in the Northern Accounting Division. The couple moved to Little Falls and Beatrice worked for 20 years at St. Francis Convent in housekeeping, twelve of those years as housekeeping director until her retirement. Her husband Edward died on February 24, 2006. Beatrice was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. Her joy was to have her grandchildren and great-grandchildren around her. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeff Doroff and Brian (Joanne) Doroff, both of Little Falls, MN; daughter, Deanne Heinz of Randall, MN and a brother, Eugene (Barbara) Vetsch of Little Falls, MN; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents, Jacob & Regina Vetsch; son-in-law, Patrick Heinz; brothers, Cletus, Alvin, Harold, Ammon & Arnold Vetsch; sisters, Bernadette Barthel & Anita Roden; sisters-in-law, Delphine Vetsch, Berna Vetsch & Bernice Vetsch and brothers-in-law, Alfred Barthel & Daniel Roden. Casketbearers are Joe Heinz, Chris Petersen, Jessie Hoheisel, Leon Vetsch, Keith Vetsch & Ron Gross.
