Barbara Reynolds

Barbara Reynolds, 88 year old resident of Milaca, formerly of Little Falls, MN, died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Elim Care & Rehab Center in Milaca.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with Fr. Nicholas Landsberger officiating.Interment will be in Bennettville Cemetery, Aitkin, MN.

Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.

Barbara Leah Ferguson was born on January 27, 1926, in Gresham, Oregon to Fred & Melina (Rivit) Ferguson.She attended school in Proctor, MN.Barb married Carroll J. Reynolds on July 23, 1955 in Duluth, MN.They operated the Marquette Hotel in Duluth for several years.Later they owned, operated and managed bars or liquor stores in Canby, McGrath, Lake Wilson and several other communities.They also managed an apartment complex in Richfield.In 1979, the couple moved to Little Falls and operated the Brass Pub until they retired in 1988.They then purchased the Windchester Motel in Little Falls and owned it for four years.Barb enjoyed traveling, fishing, sewing, crafts, flea markets, and collecting antiques.She was a member of the Siemers-Hakes V.F.W Post 10794 Ladies Auxiliary in Milaca, MN.

Survivors include her son, Carroll Corky J. Reynolds, Jr. and his wife, Deann; son-in-law, Doug Richter; four other children, Milton, Bruce, Frank Zebott, Ruthlee Quarn, step-children, Richard, Greg, Pam Reynolds and Robert Gale; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; Fred & Melinda Ferguson; husband, Carroll Cal Reynolds, Sr.; daughter, Carol Richter, step-daughter, Michelle Cartie; grandson, Thomas Zebott, granddaughter, Sara Zebott; sisters, Maude Schultz, Hazel Walbridge and Eva Johnson, and brothers, William, Walter, baby boy Albert and Luke Ferguson, Asa Aceand Lawrence Walbridge.
