Barbara Erickson

Barbara Erickson, 60 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Tuesday, July 8 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 11 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Tim Sumner officiating.A visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM on Friday at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN.

Barbara Kay Santema was born November 19, 1953 in Milaca, MN to Garritt and Arline (Ziemer) Santema. She moved with her family at a young age to Little Falls, MN. She attended school in Little Falls, MN and graduated with the class of 1972.She was united in marriage to Dale Erickson in June of 1972 in Little Falls, MN. The couple made their home in Minot, ND for two and a half years and later divorced.She moved to Little Falls, MN in 1981 and worked at Northern Cap for a few years.Barbara enjoyed reading (Stephen King Novels), hanging out with her two boys and watching movies. She will be remembered as someone who was very easy to talk with.She was a devoted mother to her two boys, Dale, Jr. and Charles.

Left to cherish her memory are her boys, Dale, Jr. (Andrea) Erickson of Waterloo, IA and Charles Erickson of Little Falls, MN; grandchildren, Tyler Erickson, Megan Erickson, Zander Wright, Robert Wright and Shane Wright; mother, Arline Santema of Little Falls ,MN; siblings, Gail Santema and Greg Santema of Little Falls, MN and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Garritt Santema, Sr.; brother, Garritt Santema, Jr. and an infant daughter.
