Ashley Schraut

Ashley Schraut, 28 year old resident of Buckman MN, died as the result of an automobile and four-wheeler accident near Buckman, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 27 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN. Friends may gather from 4:00-9:00 P.M. on Tuesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN and from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of Service on Wednesday at the church. Parish Prayers will be said at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Ashley Schraut was born August 2, 1983 in Little Falls, MN to Roger and Linnea (Olson) Schraut. Ashley attended Royalton schools graduating in 2001. He was very active with wrestling and football while in high school. He has worked for Wal-Mart in the receiving department in St. Cloud, MN for the past eight years. He helped his parents on the family dairy farm. Ashley was united in marriage to Shelly Bauer on May 15, 2004 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN. The couple made their home near Royalton, MN. Ashley was an avid deer hunter. He was a big Twins fan and enjoyed attending Twins games with his wife, Shelly and daughter, Whitney. Whitney attended her very first Twins game at the age of seven weeks old. Ashley was a dedicated sports fan especially of the Vikings and Twins. He played co-ed softball for Full Throttle Bar on Thursday nights. Ashley was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shelly Schraut of Royalton, MN; daughter Whitney Schraut at home; parents, Roger and Linnea Schraut of Royalton, MN; siblings, Roger Schraut, Jr. (Fiance, Jen) of Royalton, MN, Farrah (Shaun) Rowley of St. Cloud, MN; mother and father-in-law, Gerald "Butch" & Mary Jane Bauer of Little Rock, MN; brothers and sister-in-law, Todd Bauer of Royalton, MN, Wade (Fiance Missy Waddell) Bauer of Foley, MN, Kurt Bauer of Royalton, MN, Shaun (Stephanie) Bauer of Clear Lake, MN; grandparents, Nella Olson of Milaca, MN, Jenny (John) Forandel of Kingman, AZ and Helen Bauer of Little Falls, MN; nieces and nephews, Tessa, Tayah, Lily, Jacob, Brody, Spencer, Anabel and Ethan. Ashley was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Florence Schraut, Ernest Olson II, Edward Opatz and Verena Opatz, Lawrence Bauer; brother-in-law, Mark Bauer and a baby brother Schraut.
