Arnold W. Wieczorek, Sr., age 68 of Little Falls, MN, died Friday, October 6, 2006 at his home in Swan River Township, Morrison County, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, October 9, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with Father Raymond Donnay officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes parish Cemetery in Little Falls. Friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (West Chapel) in Little Falls. There will be a parish prayer service at 6:30 P.M. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday, October 9, 2006 from 8:00 a" 10:00 A.M. Arnold William Wieczorek, Sr. was born on December 26, 1937 in Swan River Township, Morrison County, Minnesota the son of Bernard & Isabel (Mrozek) Wieczorek. He grew up in Swan River Township and attended country school. Following his schooling, he surveyed for the highway department. He then joined the Army National Guard. Arnold spent most of his working career in St. Paul, MN, where he worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years. Following his retirement from Ford, he moved to acreage in Swan River Township where he built his own home. Arnold enjoyed spending time with his friends at Herbie's in Sobieski where he played darts and pool. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially deer hunting, fishing and working on his house. Arnold was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Little Falls. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Charlene (Larry) Hanson of Burnsville, MN and Arnie (Laura) Wieczorek of Lastrup, MN; siblings, Lee (John) Brezinka of Apple Valley, MN, Marlys Sobiech of Little Falls, MN, and Cookie Madson of Nashwauk, MN; 5 grandchildren, Nicole Hanson, Heather Wieczorek, Hannah Wieczorek, Justin Wieczorek and Dillon Wieczorek and one great-granddaughter, Calli Wicklund. Arnold was preceded in death by parents, Bernard & Isabel (Mrozek) Wieczorek; brother & sister-in-law, Bernard & Delores Wieczorek and brother-in-law, George Sobiech.
