Arlene Weber 76, year old resident of Pierz, MN died Saturday, November 11 at the Pierz Villa. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, November 14 at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN. Father Gerald Dalseth will be officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Monday, November 13 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz, MN. And from 9-10 AM on Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Christian Mothers will pray at 4:30 PM Tuesday, parish prayers at 7: 00 PM and . Arlene was born April 10, 1930 to the late Frank and Catherine (Denzen) Suess in Buckman, MN. She attended elementary school at St. Michael's School in Buckman, MN. She graduated from Little Falls High School. After high school she worked at the Buckman grocery store, Scott-Atwater Plant in Minneapolis, MN and Munsignwear in Little Falls MN. On June 24, 1953 she was united in marriage to Ted Weber at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN. Arlene and Ted owned and operated Weber's Texaco and Weber's 66 service station. They sold the business on August 1, 1986 and continued working part-time until retiring a few years later. She was diagnosed with Diabetes in March of 1983 and lived fairly well with it until her death. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Society and the Christian Mother's. Arlene enjoyed out door shrubs and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Arlene is survived by her Husband, Ted of Pierz, MN; Brothers, Wilfred Suess and wife, Patricia of St. Cloud, MN, Lambert Suess and wife, Zola of Albany, GA; Sister-In-Laws, Stella Suess of Buckman, MN, Hildegard and Helen Suess of St. Cloud, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends in and around the Pierz and Buckman area. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marie Suess and infant sister, Hildegard Suess; brothers, Raymond, Francis, Carl Suess; Infant brother, Leo Suess. Arrangements are with the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service of Pierz, MN.
