Arlene D. Formo

Arlene D. Formo, age 79, of Little Falls, MN passed away on May 16, 2007 at Lutheran Care Center. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 21, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service, East Chapel in Little Falls, MN, with Pastor Robert M. Dennis officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 20, 2007 from 4:00 a" 7:00 p.m. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service, East Chapel, and on Sunday from 12:00 a" 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Little Falls, Minnesota. Interment will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery. Arlene was born on February 22, 1928 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota to Peder & Lila (Johnson) Pederson. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1946. Arlene was united in marriage on April 17, 1949 to Glenn Formo in Dalton, Minnesota. The couple lived in Dalton until moving to Long Prairie in 1960. Arlene worked at Irene's CafAC. in Long Prairie, Minnesota as a waitress. Then from 1973 to 1983 she owned and operated Formo's 66 CafAC. in Long Prairie, Minnesota. She also wrote articles for the St. Cloud Times. Arlene moved to Little Falls in 1983, where she resided until her death. She was active with the Little Falls V. F.W Cooties and was past president at the American Legion Auxiliary in Long Prairie, Minnesota. Arlene enjoyed bingo, knitting, spending time with her family, especially her grand kids and she loved to laugh. Arlene is survived by her children, Bruce (Diane) Formo of Edgewood, IA, Bradley (Lorelei) Formo of Chaplin, MN, Valerie (John) Ahrens of Bemidji, MN, Blaine Formo of Long Prairie, MN, Pamela Wozniak of Little Falls, MN; grandchildren, Stacy, Sherry, Rhonda, Chad, Tessa, Alicia, Bailey; Great grandchildren, Dylan, Summer, Kathryn, Avery, Carter and Kylee. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son-in-law, Jodi Wozniak; granddaughter, Michelle and great-granddaughter, Ella Honorary Pallbearers will be Arlene's grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements are with the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service, East Chapel in Little Falls, Minnesota.
