Araloene Ada Marie (Fuecker) Tody, 77 year old resident of Randall, MN, completed her lifes journey surrounded by her family on Monday, April 28, 2014 at her home under the care of Unity Family Hospice. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN, with Unity Family Hospice Chaplain Ruth Jeremiasen officiating. A visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 1 and from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 2 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN.

Araloene Ada Marie Fuecker was born April 21, 1937 to the late Clark and Ursula (Maus) Fuecker.She was united in marriage to Walter M. Tody on October 27, 1956 in Robbinsdale, MN. Araloene received her GED from Little Falls Community High School. Araloene was a lifetime member of the Randall Curtis-Olson Post #9073 V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and President for 21 years, Buddy Poppy Chairman and the Craft and Bake Sale Chairman. She also launched and coordinated the Post #9073 Stamps for the Wounded Program. Araloene received the Outstanding Auxiliary Achievement Award for 2011- 2012 from the Department of Minnesota V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She was very proud to receive this award.She worked various jobs throughout her life, working as a cook at the Randall V.F.W. for ten years, a bookkeeper for Tody Construction for 20 plus years, and D & S Poultry for a few years. Her primary jobs were homemaker and dairy farming for 45 years. She enjoyed participating in the Randall Horseshoe League for 20 years, making floral arrangements for weddings and anniversaries, canning, gardening, and garage sales. She created, coordinated and distributed thousands of Crosses in a Pocket around the world.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Walt Tody of Randall; children, Susan (Jim) Duoblys of MD, Joy (Frank) Ruzich of Baxter, Jay (Cheryl) Tody of Randall, Scott Tody of Little Falls, and Kelly (Heather) Tody of Rockford;siblings, Willy (Dot) Fuecker of St. Cloud, Jack (Pat) Stevens of FL, Lonny (Gayle) West of CO, and Rolaine (Lee Roy) Perea of CO;sister-in-law, Sharon Michaels, of St. Cloud; 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many special nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Doug Michaels.

Casket Bearers will be: David Tody, Melvin Tody, Michael Blad, Michael Fuecker, Mark Michaels and Troy Fuecker.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be:Randall Curtis-Olson Post #9073 V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary members, President Laurie Giddings, Chris Stavish, Sharon Ballou, JoAnn Grey, Colleen Nelson, Mary Boone and Cheryl Budnick.
