Anthony Kaiser

Anthony "Tony" Kaiser, age 47 of Sobieski, MN passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at his home in Swan River Township, Morrison County, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski, MN with Father Raymond Donnay officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation is from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls and Saturday from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski. Parish Prayers will be said at 7:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral chapel. Anthony "Tony" Kaiser was born May 31, 1961 in Little Falls, Morrison County, MN to the late Edmund & Marcella (Sobiech) Kaiser. He grew up on the Kaiser family farm in Swan River Township, MN. Tony attended country school in District 1200 and later attended Lincoln Elementary School, Little Falls Middle School and Little Falls High School, graduating with the Class of 1979. Following high school, Tony farmed on the family farm. In 1998, he began and was presently working for Grede Foundry in St. Cloud, MN. Tony enjoyed golfing. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Gophers, Minnesota Timberwolves and the Little Falls Flyers. Tony also enjoyed the lake and spending time with his family, nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski, MN. Tony is survived by his siblings, Frederick (Susan) Kaiser of Mounds View, MN, Audrey (Gary) Manka of Minnetonka, MN, James (Judy) Kaiser of Little Falls, MN, Beverly (Larry) Kowalczyk of Plymouth, MN, Carol (Allen) Strassburg of Clear Lake, MN, Denise (Steven) Nusbam of St. Cloud, MN, Michael (Amy) Kaiser of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Stacie (Dan) Wilson of Eau Claire, WI; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund & Marcella Kaiser; grandparents, Frank & Rose Sobiech and Joseph & Anastasia Kaiser; great niece Kali Imse; several aunts and uncles. Casket bearers are Andrew Kaiser, Josh Manka, Scott Strassburg, Craig Strassburg, Chris Kowalczyk and Nicholas Kaiser.
