Anna Pietrowski, 95, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with (clergy) officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with a rosary by the Christian Mothers and Daughters of Isabella at 9:30 a.m. Anna Stella Knoll was born on May 30, 1917 in Little Falls, MN, the daughter of Simon & Mary Knoll. She grew up in Little Falls and attended school at Antlers Hotel. She was united in marriage to Adolph Pietrowski on October 26, 1937 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The couple made their home in Little Falls before moving to Camos, Washington where they both worked at Kaiser Ship Yards in Portland, Oregon. The couple then moved to Swanville where they farmed and later moved to Pike Creek Township. Anna was employed at the Cliffwood Motel and at St. Otto's Care Center. She also worked Fr. Garyeka. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers, Daughter's of Isabella and the Little Falls V.F.W. Auxiliary. Anna was proud to have made a TEC at Belle Prairie. She enjoyed gardening and flower gardening, cooking, baking, playing cards and shopping, visiting residents at St. Otto's and watching the Masses on EWTN. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jerry Pietrowski of Annandale, MN, Jim Pietrowski of New Brighton, MN, Bernie (Lee) Binstock of Coon Rapids, MN, Mike (Cheryl) Pietrowski of Little Falls and Sharon (Terry) Dobis of Little Falls, MN; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Simon & Mary Knoll; husband, Adolph (1986); daughter-in-law, Karen Pietrowski; brothers, John Knoll, Frank Knoll, Mike Knoll Ed Knoll, Joseph Knoll, Larry Knoll; sisters, Gertrude Tuholski, Marion Gasser and Marcella Nagorski and family friend, Carol Vogland.
