Angeline A. Henagin

Angeline Henagin, age 76 of Richardson Twsp, Hillman, MN passed away Monday, March 9, 2009 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Bulldog Lake, MN with Father Bernard Kahlhamer officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00-9:30 A.M. at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz, MN. St Elizabeth's Council will pray a Rosary at 4:30 Wednesday at the funeral chapel followed by Parish Prayers at 6:30 P.M. Angeline A. Henagin was born June 19, 1932, in Little Falls, Morrison County, MN to the late Wendelin and Bertha (Zak) Kahlhamer. She grew up in Lastrup, MN where she attended elementary school. Angeline graduated from Little Falls High School with the Class of 1950. Following her schooling, she worked at the Squaw Point Resort on Sullivan Lake. There she met Kenneth Henagin. Angeline & Kenneth were united in marriage on May 11, 1950. Following their marriage, the couple farmed in Richardson Township near Hillman, MN, until their children were old enough to run the farm. Angeline and Kenneth continued to live on the farm. Kenneth died March 4, 1994. Angeline remained on the farm until 1997, when she moved to Richardson's Corner residing there until her death. During this time she also spent some time in the Pierz Villa. She was very involved in and committed to her community in 4-H, PTA, Hillman Legion Auxiliary, pool leagues and was known for always helping others. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, gardening, Bingo, cards, reading, dancing and attending church bazaars. Angeline was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Bull Dog Lake, MN, St. Elizabeth's Council and the Hillman Legion Auxiliary. Angeline was loved by all that met her because of her zest and passion for life. She will be missed by not only her family but also her extended family. Left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters: Thomas (Gillian) Henagin of Olympia, WA, Eugene (Connie) Henagin of Hollister, CA, Harold (Wendy) Henagin of Pierz, MN, Trude Anderson of Brainerd, MN, Sidney (Janice) Henagin of Pierz, MN, Wendy Beireis of Minnetonka, MN, Vicky Houle of Cloquet, MN, Mary (Larry) Spencer of Zimmerman, MN, Donald (Holly) Henagin of Rockwell, TX, Amy (Brian) Burg of Albany, MN, Sheri Henagin of Cloquet, MN, Joli (Andy) Huff of Colorado Springs, CO, Edward (Becki) Henagin of Hillman, MN & Faye Henagin of Cloquet, MN; brothers, Father Bernard Kahlhamer of Duelm, MN and Anthony "Tony" (Janice) Kahlhamer of Pierz, MN; 34 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many step and adopted grandchildren. She will be welcomed into the arms of her husband, Kenneth; son, Daniel; daughter, Becky; parents, Wendelin & Bertha Kahlhamer; brothers, Sylvester, Roman and Andrew Kahlhamer and all her friends and relatives that have preceded her. Casketbearers will be her family.
