Andrew S. McDougall, age 21, of Royalton, MN, died Monday, August 4, 2008 in Buckman, MN. Funeral will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 8, 2008 at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church in Rice, MN, with Rev. Robert Frank officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Royalton, MN. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Royalton and will continue at the church on Friday one hour prior to the service. Andrew Scott McDougall was born on June 2, 1987 in Little Falls, MN, the son of Danny & Renaye (Post) McDougall. He grew up in Royalton where he attended school. During high school, Andrew was selected to participate in the Youth Wildlife Program at Camp Ripley sponsored by the Department of Natural Resources. Andrew graduated from Royalton High School with the Class of 2005. Following his schooling, he worked on his Uncle & Aunt, Charles & Sharon Popp's farm. He then went to work for Traut Wells in Waite Park and recently took a position in the Janitorial department at Little Falls Middle School. Andrew enjoyed fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, loud cars, mowing lawn, playing video games, watching sports and especially playing hockey with kids in town. Most of all, Andrew enjoyed spending time with his family and his niece and nephew who knew him as "Uncle Duck". He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Danny & Renaye (Post) McDougall of Royalton; brothers, Travis (Loretta) McDougall of Little Falls and Adam McDougall of Royalton; nephew, Seth McDougall of Little Falls and niece, Hailey McDougall of Little Falls; grandmothers, Fern Post of Little Falls and Ethel McDougall of Royalton and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Nelson McDougall and Willard Post.
