Aloysius Vincent Stoltman, 92 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Saturday, February 18 at the Harmony House in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 21 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Mark Innocenti officiating. Friends may gather from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service at the church on Tuesday. Aloysius V. Stoltman was born October 16, 1919 to the late Vinc and Mary (Krych) Stoltman. He attended country school in Pike Creek Township, Morrison County, Minnesota. Al farmed all of his adult life in Pike Creek Township on his parent's home farm. He was a Dekalb seed corn salesman for many years. He raised Santa Gertrudis beef cattle. He will be remembered for having the sweetest sweet corn in the area. Al enjoyed planting blue spruce trees, from his nursery, throughout the Little Falls area. He was a road boss and constable for Pike Creek Township for many years. Al enjoyed predicting the weather, hunting, gardening, growing geraniums and bowling in which he was a championship bowler in the 1950's. He was a member of the Morrison County Historical Society, Sportsman Club, National Guard Citizen's Committee of Camp Ripley and St. Otto's Advisory Board 1970-76. Al attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN his entire life and was an active participant in the Easter Fire and volunteering his time snowplowing the parish parking lot. Left to cherish his memory is his sister Gertrude Lillard, nephews and nieces Marlene Andert, Gary Magner, Steve Lillard, Dale Lillard, Linda Lillard, Michelle Grandpre, Donita Grandpre and Mary Kay Grandpre, godsons Robert Stoltman of Little Falls, Greg Zilka of Randall and John Filippi of Little Falls, good friends The Louie Filippi Family, Ronald and Laureen Witt Family. He was preceded in death by his parents Vinc and Mary, brother Stanley, sisters Helen Magner and Emily Grandpre and very good friend Louie Filippi.
