Aloys "Al" Frank was born on March 3, 1946 in Dickinson, ND, the eldest son of the late Leo and Pauline (Stockert) Frank. He grew up in Sobieski, MN and attended St. Stanislaus Catholic Parochial school before graduating from Little Falls High School in 1964. Al took a job in 1977 with Xerox Corporation, where he worked for over 32 years until he retired in March, 2009. Al enjoyed baseball, elk hunting in Colorado, snowmobiling, and spending his weekends outdoors on the family's farm. After being diagnosed with carcinoid cancer of the appendix in October of 2008, Al courageously spent his last few months surrounded by family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marie of Maple Grove, MN; daughter, Colleen Frank of New York, NY; son, Brian Frank of Windsor, MO; brothers, Dennis (Karen) Frank of Sobieski, MN and Jerry (Kathleen "Tina") Frank of Randall, MN; sister, Jo Mary (Dale) Lease of Little Falls, MN and many nieces and nephews. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Leo & Pauline (Stockert) Frank and sister and brother-in-law, Sharon & Alfred Methner.
