Alma Lorraine Betlock

Alma "Bobbie" L. Betlock, age 89 of Little Falls, MN passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the Harmony House of Little Falls. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (East Chapel) in Little Falls with Pastor Dave Sperstad officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls. Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Friday morning at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (East Chapel) in Little Falls. Alma "Bobbie" Betlock was born February 5, 1918 in Little Falls, Morrison County, MN to the late John E. and Inga M. (Halseth) Flack. She attended and graduated from Little Falls High School with the Class of 1936. She was united in marriage to Willard "Doc" Betlock on August 26, 1940 in Farmington, MN. The couple moved to South Carolina while Willard served in the United States Navy. After his discharge, the couple returned to Little Falls where the couple owned an Optometric Practice. After their retirement in 1978, Bobbie & Doc moved to Arkansas and later to Missouri. In 1995, they moved back to Little Falls. Doc died June 26, 1995. Bobbie continued to live in Little Falls. In her later years, she became a resident of the Harmony House of Little Falls residing there until her death. She enjoyed bowling, water and snow skiing and church circle meetings. She was a member of the Little Falls American Legion Auxiliary. Alma "Bobbie" is survived by sons & daughter, Barry Betlock & wife, Chris, of Ojai, CA, Greg Betlock & wife, Joan, of Casa Grande, AZ, Eric Betlock & wife, Kathleen, and Laurie Veillette & husband, Doug, of Little Falls; sister, Inga Smith of Moorhead, MN; grandchildren, Lynn, Erin, Derek, Beau & BreAnne Betlock and Marie & Hannah Veillette; great-grandchildren, Sam & Claire Emison, Aiden Betlock-Oothoudt & Owen Betlock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard "Doc"; parents, John & Inga Marie Flack; sisters, Ellen Flack, Irene Eckman, Elsie Melberg, Ann Davis & Alice Lund. Memorials are preferred to the Harmony House of Little Falls, MN.
