Alleene Luby, 65 Year old resident of Pierz, MN, died Saturday, August 10 at her home in Pierz, MN.A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, August 31 at 11:00 A.M. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz, MN.A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. the day of the service at the funeral home.

Alleene Luby was born August 30, 1947 in Duluth, MN to Richard Ernest Bagley and Lorraine Joyce McMillan. She grew up in Duluth, MN and spent her adult life in Crosby, MN. She had recently moved to Pierz, MN to be close to her daughter.Alleene worked at the Crystal Caf in Crosby, MN, Rutgers Lodge at Bay Lake and at Grand Casino Mille Lacs.She enjoyed crocheting, watching the sci-fi channel, cooking and spending time with her family.Alleene was a wonderful and caring person who loved to spend time cooking with her family and friends. She loved to spoil her grandchildren Ashley, Jesse, Adrian as well as her great-granddaughters, Tera and Anberlynne. Alleene was an amazing mother, grandmother and friend to everyone she met. Alleene was love by many and will be greatly missed by all.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Terri (Frank) Schmidt of Pierz, MN, Ruth Luby of Crosby; brothers, Ray Bagley of Brainerd, MN, Lyle Bagley of Blue Rapids, KS and Bill Anton of Austin, TX; sisters, Arvilla McCalla of Pierz, MN and Jeanette (Bill) Pettit of Loveland, CO; grandchildren, Ashley, Jesse and Adrian and great-grandchildren, Tera and Anberlynne.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Kathy Tindall and David Anton.
