Agnes M. Boser, age 95, of Lastrup, MN, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Harmony House of Pierz. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2009 at St. John's Nepomuk Catholic Church in Lastrup, MN, with Fr. David Maciej & Fr. Greg Poser concelebrating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, November 22nd and 9-10 a.m. Monday, November 23rd all at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz. There will be a Christian Women's Rosary at 4:30, Parish prayers at 6:00 and Knights of Columbus service at 7:30 Sunday at the funeral home. Agnes Marie Lutzke was born on June 9, 1914 near Freedhem, MN to the late Frank & Magdalena (Wenzel) Lutzke. She grew up on the family farm near Freedhem and attended country school. She was united in marriage to Robert L. Boser, Sr. on May 29, 1934 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie, MN. The couple farmed north of Pierz and moved to Little Falls in 1983. Agnes continued living in Little Falls following Robert's death in 1986. Due to her declining health, she became a resident of the Harmony House in Pierz where she resided at the time of her death. Agnes enjoyed gardening and flowers, crocheting, fishing, traveling and playing cards with the neighbors. While living in Little Falls, she volunteered at the Little Falls Senior Center. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Lastrup and a 50 year member of the Christian Women. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Delores Haekenkamp of Winsted, MN, Marion (Marvin) Stangl of Pierz, Leonard (Shirley) Boser of Pierz, Darnell (Vernon) Froelich of Pierz, Robert, Jr. (Vonna) Boser of Pierz, Melvin (Dorine) Boser of Brainerd, Idella (Dave) Lease-Sanders of Manteca, CA; sister, Hilda Poser of Little Falls; 28 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Boser, Sr. (December 20, 1986); parents, Frank & Magdalena (Wenzel) Lutzke; grandsons, Dean Boser and Wayne Plante; sons-in-law, LaVern Plante, Norman Pohl and Ken Haekenkamp; sisters, Martha, Anna and Marie; brothers, Herman, Frank, Daniel, Rudolph, Joseph and Gustav.
