Agnes Super, age 85 of Little Falls, MN and formerly of Flensburg, MN passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 1, 2008, at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg with Father Leo Moenkedick officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service (West Chapel) in Little Falls and Friday from 9:00-10:00 A.M. at the church in Flensburg. A rosary will be said at 4:30 P.M. Thursday afternoon at the funeral chapel followed by parish prayers at 6:00 P.M. Agnes Super was born January 14, 1923 in Swanville Township, Morrison County, MN to the late Michael & Elizabeth (Kedrowski) Super. She grew up in Swanville Township on the family farm south of Flensburg. She attended school in Flensburg. Following her schooling, Agnes helped her parents on the family farm. She also worked at Munsingwear in Little Falls as a seamtress for a short time. She worked as a caregiver to her parents for most of her life. Her mother died in 1969. Following her mother's death, Agnes and her father continued living on the family farm until 1980, when they moved to the City of Flensburg. In 1986, Agnes and her father, Michael, moved to the Alverna Apartments in Little Falls. Her father died in 1987. Agnes continued to live at Alverna Apartments and was known as the welcoming lady and hall monitor. In May of 2007, Agnes became a resident of St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls residing there until her death. She was known for her outgoing personality and her love of caring for others. She enjoyed talking on the telephone, embroidering, volunteering at Alverna Apartments and St. Otto's Care Center and spending time with her family that she loved so much. Agnes was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Rosary Sodality. Agnes is survived by her sisters, Anne Marsolek of Little Falls, MN and Bernadine Quandt & husband, Walter, of Oakes, ND; many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marion Sobania; brothers-in-law, Roman Sobania & Jerome Marsolek and a nephew, Roger Marsolek. Casketbearers will be her great nieces & nephews.
