Agnes Anna Golombiecki

Agnes Golombiecki, 75 year old resident of Flensburg, MN died Tuesday, August 4 at the Little Falls Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 7 at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg, MN with Fr. Jimmy Joseph officiating. The burial will be held in the parish cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 6 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN and from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of the service on Friday at the church.



Agnes Anna Bartkowitz was born October 15, 1939 in Little Falls, MN to the late Peter and Martha (Wozniak) Bartkowitz. She attended St. Stanislaus Catholic School in Sobieski, MN. She graduated from Little Falls Community High School in 1958. Agnes worked at St. Gabriels Hospital for a short time. She was united in marriage to Richard Golombiecki on February 9, 1959 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski, MN.The couple made their home and farmed in Swan River Township for 55 years. Richard died on July 6, 2013. Agnes continued living on the farm for a short while longer until moving into the Little Falls Care Center. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg, MN where she was an active member of the Christian Mothers and the Rosary Sodality.



Left to cherish her memory are children, John Golombiecki of Little Falls, MN, Jean (Scott) Bartkowicz of Swanville, MN, Jeff (Stacie) Golombiecki of Bigelow, MN and Jackie (Wayne) Kroll of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Tony (Maxine) Bartkowitz of Little Falls, MN, Frances Lashinski of Little Falls, MN and Betty (Dave) Burton of North Carolina; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Martha Bartkowitz; husband, Richard Golombiecki; brother, John Bartkowitz and a sister, Helen Slattery.
