Adeline (Jarosh) Miller, 81 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN with Father Nick Landsberger officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may gather from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN and from 9:30-11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 P.M. followed by Parish Prayers at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Adeline Marion Jarosh was born on May 7, 1930, in Little Falls Township, Morrison County, Minnesota the daughter of Andrew & Mamie (Yourczek) Jarosh. She attended grade school through the eighth grade in District #54, walking two and a half miles to school each day. She then attended Little Falls Public School for two years and transferred to St. Francis High School where she graduated in 1949. She was united in marriage to Donald Miller on June 4, 1951 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls. Adeline was a dedicated wife and mother. She also worked for two years at First National Bank in Little Falls and then helped her husband in their business, Miller's TV and Audio, as a bookkeeper. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, the Christian Mothers and the Daughters of Isabella. She was vital, energetic, and involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. After raising eight children, she turned her energy to many different hobbies including playing violin, gardening, exercising at Curves and enjoying the beauty of nature. She enjoyed spending summers at their cabin on Fish Trap Lake, riding with Don with their motorcycle club, snowmobiling and playing cards with her life-long friends. She also enjoyed traveling the United States and throughout Europe. Her legacy lives on through her family. She loved, supported and encouraged her children and grandchildren in all their endeavors and was proud of their accomplishments. She will be loved, missed and cherished by all who knew her, especially her family. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, Donald of Little Falls; eight children, Michael (Jonita) Miller of Indianapolis, IN, Karen (partner, Alice Ottavi) Miller of Golden Valley, MN and their children, Jasmine and Claire, Gordon "Gordy" Miller of Minneapolis, MN, Ruth (Rick) Heine of Cloquet, MN and their children, Sarah and Luke, Ralph (Becky) Miller of Minnetonka, MN and their children, Andrew and Kyle, Glenn (Beth) Miller of Minnetonka, MN and their children, Jack, Anne and Joseph, Linda (Doug) Connell of Sartell, MN and their children, Megan and Phillip, and Anita (Bill) Strouf of Cedar Rapids, IA and their children, Mitchell, Benjamin and William; siblings, Katherine Chandler, Rita Gardner, Virginia Empey, Conrad Jarosh, Diana Felix and Irene Salitros-Hanson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Mamie Jarosh.
