Adeline Ellenbecker, 90 year old resident of the St. Benedict Center in Sherburne County, Minnesota died Monday, January 12. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 17 at 12:00 PM at the St. Benedict Center. with Father Meinradt Dindorf Friends may call from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM on Saturday at St. Benedict Center. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Little Falls, MN at a later date. Adeline was born March 30, 1918 in Foley, Minnesota to the late Thomas and Angeline (Bozych) Tischberek. She attended school in Foley, MN and graduated from Foley High School. She also attended St. Cloud Beauty School. Adeline was united in marriage to Frank Ellenbecker on August 27, 1940 in Foley, MN. The couple made their home in Little Falls, MN. Adeline was a housewife and Mother, she also ran her small beauty salon business out of her home. In her later years, she worked part-time for Sears. She was the best wife and mother, her family meant the most to her of anything and she would do anything to help them. She and Frank enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. and Mexico in their motor home after retirement. They would spend six months traveling and visiting extended family and friends throughout the winter months and the summer months you would find them at their home on beautiful Fish Trap Lake. She and Frank danced all their lives, either at the Terpsi Dance Club, V.F.W., Legion or Senior Centers. She was the "World's Best Baker" of pies, rolls and breads. She enjoyed playing bridge, walking and playing cards. She was a member of the Christian Mothers, Mission Circle, Camp Fire Girl leader, volunteered to assist many groups and people. Adeline is survived by her children, Bill Ellenbecker and wife, Marlene, of Coon Rapids, MN, Catherine Ritchhart and husband, Steve, of East Lansing, MI, Mary Cornwell and husband, Lynn, of San Jose, CA, Jean McGarry and husband, Bill, of Lake Elmo, MN; sisters, Irene Hellhake of Tucson, AZ, Dolores Landon of Fresno, CA, Charlotte Gustafson of Tucson, AZ; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Ellenbecker; parents, Thomas Tischberek and Angeline (Bozych) Tischberek. In Lieu of Flowers Memorials Preferred to St. Bendict's Ceneter.
