Adan Salazar, 49 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Thursday, June 14 at his residence in Little Falls, MN. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 19 at 11:00 A.M. at the Emblom Brenny East Chapel in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Bobby Loukinen officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. Friends of Adan may call from 5 to 8 P.M. on Monday, June 18 and from 10-11 A.M. on Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Adan was born June 27, 1957 in Edinburg, TX to Adan and Josefine "Pena" Salazar. Adan attended and graduated from school in Edinburg, TX. He was united in marriage to Velda Marie Morris on March 17, 1977 in Edinburg, TX. The couple moved to Little Falls, MN in 2001, where he was employed at Larson Boats in Little Falls, MN for the past four years. Adan enjoyed barbecuing, spending time with his friends and family, especially his children and grandchildren. Adan is survived by his wife, Velda Salazar of Little Falls, MN; parents, Adan and Josefina Salazar of Edinburg, TX; sons, Christopher Salazar of St. Cloud, MN, Adan Salazar and wife, Jennifer, of Sauk Rapids, MN; daughters, Misty Salazar and boyfriend, Adam Gardner, of Buckman, MN, Shannon Heinz and husband, Jerry, of Little Falls, MN; sisters, Norma Hernandez, Gracie Tenorio and husband, Chilo, Lupita Armenta and husband, Eli, all of Edinburg, TX; grandchildren, Braeden, Israel, Alex and Blake. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Auarilo and Ramona Salazar, Merquindes and Maria Pena; sister, Frances Salazar and brother-in-law, Noe Hernandez. Casketbearers will be: Chris Salazar, Adan Salazar III, Tim Morris, John A. Nillson, Jerry Heinz, Adam Gardner, Joe Gasca, Donald Morris.
